Alison McCallum - Trainer/Owner
Horses have been a part of Alison's life she was a young girl. When she was 8 her first pony was purchased from Leslie Desmond, famous author and horsemanship coach. During Alison's first year of riding with Leslie, she learned to W/T/C and jump fences bareback before she earned her saddle. Alison was one of the founding members of the Mad River Pony Club and an active pony clubber for 13 yrs. Alison graduated pony club at the C3 level. During her high school years Alison was a working student for Virginia and Jack Leary, in Litchfield, CT. At the age of 18 Alison became a freelance instructor and a full time employee at Lost Run Farm, helping the Leary's care for their horses, as well as riding and competing clients' horses.
Alison is a member of the USEA and has competed various horses at recognized horse trials. She is also a member of the USEF and USDF. Alison competed her Holsteiner gelding, Too Tall Jones, in dressage through 3rd level and enjoys bringing the young horses along. In 2003, Alison started
Oakendale Farm LLC in Bristol, CT, where she helps students and horses of all ages and levels create successful partnerships. Alison's teaching philosophy is that all her students at any level feel comfortable and successful in their riding as well as have a clear understanding of the
building blocks that are necessary to succeed. Throughout the year, Alison enjoys coaching her students at both schooling and recognized dressage shows, horse shows and horse trials.
Cameron Krueger - Trainer
Cameron Krueger began riding at the age of 5 with Alison at Oakendale Farm. She was a member of the Oakendale Farm Pony Club Riding Center and is currently competing her two OTTB’s Gun Start and Raffie’s Princess at USEA events. In addition to her work at Oakendale she also is riding for Virginia Leary at Lost Run Farm. Cameron enjoys working with horses and students of all levels. On top of her many hours spent at the barn she is also a student on the dean’s list at University of Saint Joseph's studying Accounting and she graduates in 2019.

Kelly Bradley- Barn Manager
Kelly Bradley is a graduate of Uconn class of 2018 with a bachelors in Animal Science. She began riding at Oakendale Farm when she was 5 years old. She started with leases on Napoleon and Calvin Klein before she co-owned Certified Chip. She currently rides her horse, The Butler Did It. Kelly enjoys spending time with Butler and working on his dressage training.
